3 south africans and their 2 kingdoms
The best NZ reformed church can come up with to engage the culture, preach the gospel and share our doctrine is a podcast where three 65 year old south african men other drool over a girl called Meredith. Tell me you're out of touch without telling me you're out of touch. In reality they are 3 South Africans who deserted their country and now pontificate about the noahic covenant while the culture in New Zealand flips the noahic covenant upside their churches head.
They like to pontificate about Meredith and her Two Kingdoms and then like to bring her ideas to bear on their churches.
The Lord providential allowed the leader of two kingdom theology to have a female name.
I recently bumped the viewership of the Two age sojourners podcast by 1 percent from watching one of their podcasts on YouTube where they get roughly: If you ever crave the need to listen to 3 South Africans who deserted their country and now enjoy pontificating about the noahic covenant while the culture in New Zealand flips the noahic covenant upside down then I would suggest listening to -at least they got the sojourners part right. There's 3 of them because they need two touchies and a referee to tell the Spirit and His people where they can and can't go and what the rules are. However Mike Beck and his touchies might need to think a little harder about which kingdom they think they are in when them and their churches are holding a voting ballot.

Throughout human history Two kingdom theology has been marred byt
The church loves two kingdom theology because it allows them to wash their blood stained conscience in the ambiguity of a doctrine that can never let's its theology touch the ground.
This is 60,000 babies are being murdered. In our nation 45,000 people die naturally every year and 60,000 are murder
Imagine walking on to a worksite and seeing a man wearing jandals.

There is a debate that has been happening with in the church for some time between theonomy and two kingdom doctrine
Theonomy has lost the battle for the hearts and minds of those that fear the Lord. I'm convinced it is true but t, it has.

Theonomists and Two Kingdomites have been arguing like good brothers do for a while now so I thought I would insert myself into the discussion with a new doctrine. Now, it's not really "new" per se and many of you will know the Guy who originally proposed it - I'll give you a clue: He requires His pronouns capitalised and identifies as God. His statement and my new doctrine has changed human history forever, because it was so antithetical to the sinful nature of man. It's perceived as simple by most christians but its implications are vast. Its simplicity has caused many reformers today to forget its sweetness . So I thought I better put it in a way that reformers can understand. So I combined all three words this man said and added an "ism" at the end. It's called "Loveyourneighbourism".
No one in the secular common grace kingdom can escape what we are commanded to do to them. We are required to love all our neighbours. Even the ones who are unborn and don't have a heartbeat yet. Yes even those neighbours.
Theonomists twist themselves into knots, wrestling with Two Kingdoms theology’s framework as if it deserves a seat at the table, instead of boldly presupposing that its proponents are suppressing the truth in unrighteousness. The truth is the doctrine of Two Kingdoms belong to idiots who would rather have 'two kingdoms' instead of the two balls (or ovaries) God gave them to conquer the nations with. The antidote to their pontifications of sabbaths and church history is a doctrine I would like to call 'Love your neighbourism'.

I have spoken at lengths with a lot of pastors who are amillennial and believe in a two kingdom approach to politics. These two theologies go hand in hand if you want to believe This has led to deep confusion that has led to shepherds of Gods flock tying millstones around their necks as they try to square up
Every election christians vote for what God hates.
Here's how loveyourneighbourism works in a culture where your neighbours are being murdered. You don't vote for it. I know crazy right.
We can look back at chattel slavery is bad, not just bad, its sin. Would I be loving my neighbour if I voted for it?
Imagine we are in England and there's
a reformed baptist who is telling everyone to vote for the Nazi party. Adolf has said explicitly that he is fully committed to the murder of the Jews.
The National Party is a political party here in New Zealand that won our last election making Christopher Luxon, our Prime Minister and Simeon Brown our Health Minister. Both are public, Christ confessing, pro life christians with Christopher Luxon saying that he believes abortion is "tantamount to murder" yet promised in 2023 to keep both abortion and IVF legal and fully funded in a country where abortion is legal up until birth. Brown is a former leader of the pro life movement and is a current member of a reformed baptist church. So just to recap, we have two pro life christians in the two most senior positions of government advocating and now ordering a system to murder our neighbours.
So over to you two kingdom idiots. See if you can love your neighbours What should we do? What would two kingdom theology say to two christians who each have two hands covered in too much unborn blood? What should Simeon and Chris do with their blood covered hands? Should they heed Isaiah 1:17's call from God to 'wash themselves clean'? Or shall they linger in the so-called common grace of bloodshed, sanctioned by the secular state? Or worse, shall they wash their hands for Sunday worship, only to return Monday to toil the soil at the abortion clinic?
This is where two kingdom theology crawls into a little ball in the corner and dies. Because they really only have four options:
-
Justify Simeon and Christophers actions and those who vote for National and other parties who are pro abortion. Hard sell biblically.
-
Condemn and Simeon and Christophers actions and recognise it as sin to vote for them
Go grab every book, every podcast, every pontification from every two kingdom idiot and burn it because if you think this is a

Theonomists, are loving this beat up session on two kingdom guys you should notice that im saying its a sin to vote
Our neighbours in the womb are wondering which kingdom do they belong to? They are in a secular womb but also being formed by the King's hands. The two kingdoms look a little different when the secular kingdom wants to murder what God is knitting together and the people of His kingdom are advocating for political parties who will keep
A proponent of two kingdom theology is Ian Goodman, who is the pastor of South City Church in Auckland where of which Simeon Brown, New Zealand's Health Minister is a member of.
Theonomists would sit there in the pontifications of the two kingdoms "rests" and "sabbaths" but "love your neighbourism" says
If you find yourself drawing secular lines around this issue, then you are jumping on a boat to tarnesh instead of doing what God told you because scripture is clear about what needs to happen but There is not a world where you can obey the law of noncontradiction,
Your doctrine is a dangerous half-truth that has to live in the perfect pharisee storm of christian history and pontifications about the sabbath but
'Love your neighbourism' is a doctrine that assumes the posture of obedience to God's command to look at our neighbours and love them. Treat them as we would like to be treated. Simple stuff right? So tell me church, how did you love your neighbour in the last election? Yes, I said the word that nearly every pastor has in his list of swear words. Your vote belongs to God not Cesar. Everything you do belongs to God (1 Corintians 10:31).
Sabbath and resting
Simeon Brown - a self-proclaimed Reformed Christian, is a National Party MP, championing a party that keeps abortion—including full-term murder—legal and funded. He was recently made New Zealand’s Health Minister and now oversees the hospitals
Two Kingdoms theology, with its division of life into a sacred sphere governed by Scripture and a secular sphere ruled by natural law, suggests Simeon can faithfully execute his civic duties while privately deploring abortion. So what does this theology say of Simeon Brown’s two blood-covered hands, stained by his complicity in a system that sheds innocent blood? Should he heed Isaiah’s call to “wash yourselves; make yourselves clean” (Isaiah 1:16)? Or shall he linger in the so-called common grace of bloodshed, sanctioned by a secular state? Or worse, shall he wash his hands for Sunday worship, only to return Monday to toil the soil at the abortion clinic? This doctrine, though cloaked in theological respectability, dies it's death here in New Zealand and shall be replaced with a new doctrine which I like to call 'Love your neighbourism'.

Recently, I learned about Simeon’s past from a BJJ buddy who knew him in their homeschool days. Back then, Simeon was a “staunch Christian,” debating doctrine and God’s existence with reformer zeal. He was even part of the original church plant of South City Church with Pastor Alfie. Now, as New Zealand’s Health Minister, he’s the one signing off on abortion funding. My friend sighed: “The power got to his head.” Step by step, Simeon has traded convictions for clout, truth for lies, and the gospel of life for the party of death, proving we can all fall for Satan’s oldest trick—promising glory for a bow to Baal. Proverbs 4:23 says, “Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.” The devil has tricked Simeon. There’s no denying it. Incrementally, step by step, Simeon has walked deeper into darkness.
But how were these evil steps toward darkness left unchallenged by those who claim to love God and Simeon? His wife, his parents—silence. His church, his former pastors—silence. What fault have these fools found in their God that they refuse to open their mouths in protest? How can they read God’s Word and not tackle Simeon as he leaves the house to campaign for what God hates? Probably because they were too busy soaking their hands in the blood of the unborn too. Simeon’s wife is currently expecting another baby. I hope that baby grows up to see repentant parents, not the spineless mother, father, grandparents, and church they currently have. Shame on you all.
The shepherd of Simeon’s evil steps and the silence of those around him is Pastor Ian Goodman. His surname’s a lie—he’s no good man. Rather, he is a fat man, too lazy to find his staff and too lethargic to pick it up—a bad man, allowing what he knows to be sin to continue and fester. Ian and I have had about half a dozen phone calls with what polite folks call “passionate dialogue.” Ian didn’t have the greatest acumen or familiarity with Reformed doctrine and often struggled to make sound arguments. Certain defenses he made for his biblical positions didn’t hold water. I later found out he was a fairly newly ordained pastor from an Arminian Baptist church, and it showed in our discussions.

Simeon’s sin thrives and escalates because of Ian’s lack of biblical understanding and passion for Christ and His Church. Ian thinks shepherding is a restaurant where you pick your preferred menu items, but in reality, it’s a meal prepared by your Father that you’re required to eat fully. Everything on his plate, including Simeon’s public sin, is his responsibility—an analogy that probably made him hungry for a snack instead of change. Ian must seize this God-ordained opportunity to confront Simeon’s public sin and lead his congregation to still waters and green pastures, not bloody meadows. But if Ian cares about God’s Church as little as he does for his own body, I hold little hope for the flock of South City Church; their condemnation will be just.
When the time comes, as it surely will, when abortion is abolished, how will those who follow us look upon the Church of New Zealand in 2025? With sorrow, I fear, as a people who forgot their calling. We stood silent as the blood of the unborn cried out (Genesis 4:10). We cast votes for parties pledged to the slaughter of the unborn. We turned wombs, where God creates masterpieces (Psalm 139:13–16), into graveyards. We called evil good by declaring we were doing the “lesser evil,” as if bloodshed could be weighed like market goods (Proverbs 21:3). We allowed men like Simeon and Luxon to represent Christ and His Church while they told this nation to vote for what God hates.
Yet, there is hope, a quiet but unshakable light that gleams for the Church of New Zealand at this blood-soaked crossroads. We can make ourselves clean; repentance is not a far-off dream but a door held open by the hand of grace, for God’s mercy is a vast sea that swallows our sins (Romans 5:20), and His justice demands our obedience (Isaiah 1:17). As John Calvin declared, “It is the duty of every Christian to conduct himself in such a way that he does not dishonor the gospel of Christ, either in private or in public affairs.” Pastors like Ian must stop coddling their bellies and seize their shepherd’s staff, for they will give an account—not only for their excess body fat but also for the unrepentant sin they allow to sit in their pews. Men like Simeon need to stop dancing with the devil’s policies and then approaching the Lord’s table to serve the saints their communion. God’s own people must kick the blood-soaked bribes of politics to the curb and vote as if the unborn are neighbors whom their God is forming. We’re not here to compromise; we’re here to proclaim the gospel, end the slaughter, and see nations bow to Christ. So, pray like it’s war, act like it’s today, and trust God to redeem what’s broken—for His glory and the unborn’s rescue.

For all you losers that are offended, imagine how the unborn feel by your unbiblical inaction. Were you expecting me to tell you what I'm about in this section? Go read Jeremiah and Isaiah and you'll get the drift.
Part of God's judgement is that it was left to me to say all that has been needed to be said about God's law, the gospel and how we should be loving our neighbours. Shame on all of you who are offended for it is God's standards that offends you sin. Repent with us.
